About
An engineering practice, not an outsourcing desk. The distinction is the whole point.

I have spent close to a decade producing civil design inside US engineering firms — transportation infrastructure, drainage and stormwater systems, roadway and corridor design, and site civil for private development. Not adjacent to that work. Inside it, against US standards, on US deadlines, through US agency review.
That experience is the reason Forefield exists. The recurring frustration I watched from inside those firms was not a shortage of offshore capacity — it was that the capacity did not understand the work. Sheets came back needing more correction than they saved. Standards were treated as suggestions. The person who sold the engagement was never the person opening the file.
Forefield is built to be the opposite of that. I lead every engagement, I review every deliverable before it returns to you, and I know what a US plan set is supposed to look like because I have been producing them for ten years.
How we think about the work
Your standards are not negotiable
We work in your template, your layer standard, your sheet order and your annotation style. If a deliverable comes back and your team has to reformat it, we have failed regardless of whether the engineering was right.
The seal stays with you
We produce; your licensed engineer reviews and signs. We will never position ourselves as anything other than production support operating under your professional direction, and we say so on every page of this site for a reason.
Say it when something is wrong
If a design assumption does not hold, if a grade will not work, if a deadline is not realistic at the hours we have — you hear it that day. Silence on a production team is expensive.
Turn work down when it is not ours
There is work we should not take: structural, survey, anything requiring judgement that belongs to a licensed professional on your side. We would rather tell you that in the scope call than discover it three weeks in.
The practice
Forefield operates from Hyderabad, Telangana — one of India’s largest engineering and technology centres, with a deep pool of Civil 3D and infrastructure design talent. Production is engineer-led and reviewed in-house before anything is released.
We hold our own software licences, our own hardware, and redundant power and connectivity, because a monsoon outage is not an acceptable reason to miss your submittal date.
Send us a set and a deadline.
Tell us what is on your desk this week. We will come back with a scope, an hourly rate, and a start date — usually within one business day.
